NOTICES

‘PRAYING THE STREETS’: This week please pray for those in Woodthrope Close & Cottesford Close.

PRAYER REQUESTS: If there’s someone you’d like the church to be praying for, please write their name in the Blue Folder (Prayer Corner), with a short description of need if appropriate. The list is prayed for weekly.

BRIEF CHURCH MEETING AFTER SERVICE: Please stay seated after service for a short Church Meeting (15 mins max) to consider Community Room refurbishment plans.

LENT COURSE: The Churches Together Lent Course starts this week (see diary) – an ecumenical course exploring the significance of Christ’s resurrection. All welcome.

FAIRTRADE STALL: Next Sunday after service there will be a Fairtrade stall in the Ansell Centre – come prepared!

TRAINING FOR DEFIBRILLATOR USE: Next training opportunities are Mon 19 Feb (3-6pm), Fri 9 Mar (2-4pm) & Fri 23 Mar (7-10pm) (sessions last 35-45 mins). Please ring and book a space if you’re interested (823642).

Dishes, Plate, Fork, Eating, Spoon, Eatery, RestaurantLUNCH ON SUNDAY 4 MARCH: Ronnie and Jan have kindly agreed to coordinate a lunch on Sunday 4 March. This will provide a time of fellowship between Revd Peter Ball leading worship in the morning and his seminar on Walking the Way in the afternoon (2:30pm). It will be a simple two course meal: a choice of casseroles with jacket potatoes and then pudding. If you’d like to come or if you’d be able to provide a pudding, please speak to Ronnie (310169) or Jan (823413).

FAITHALIVE SERIES: CD recordings of previous services can be arranged – see Tom.

FIND: At the moment FIND are particularly looking for donations of Jam/marmalade, long grain rice (500g), cream crackers, tins of beef/casserole, peas, potatoes. As usual, please leave them in the box at the back of church.
